Dr Kevin Ryan is an ABEM Board Certified Emergency Physician and
completed the BIDMC/HHI Affiliated Disaster Medicine Fellowship in
2014-2015.  Dr Ryan was born and raised in Hanover, MA and graduated
Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University in 2006 with a B.A. in
Biology and B.A. Psychology.  While an undergraduate and also as a
medical student, he worked as an EMT and later selected as a Field
Training Preceptor for Fallon Ambulance.  His experiences as an EMT
led him to apply and attend Tufts University School of Medicine,
graduating in 2010.  His love of EMS and emergency medicine motivated
him to pursue Emergency Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center
from 2010-2014, receiving the Andrew Ulrich Award for commitment to
the BMC EM Residency and the Department of Emergency Medicine during
his fourth year.

After completing the Disaster Medicine Fellowship in
2015, he was accepted to the EMS Fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist
Health in Winston-Salem, NC. As a fellow, he served as Assistant
Medical Director with Stokes County EMS and Deputy Medical Director
with Forsyth County EMS.  In addition to his roles with Stokes EMS and
Forsyth EMS, he worked clinically at Wake Forest Baptist
Health-Lexington Medical Center as Assistant Instructor from
2015-2016.

On July 1, 2016, Kevin Ryan joined  BostonEMS/Police/Fire as Associate
Medical Director and BUSM/Boston Medical Center Emergency Department
as Assistant Professor. His areas of interest include
prehospital medicine/EMS, mass gathering, and occupational injuries.
